Weight Loss and Gastric Band Hypnosis

Losing weight safely and comfortably.
As an experienced counsellor and hypnotherapist I have helped many people who are overweight and had already tried everything to lose the pounds.
They come to see me because although their diets may have been succesful for a while, the weight eventually come back on. People then become angry with themselves for ‘having no will power’. The truth is weight and food issues are rarely, if ever. about will power. They are much more about our emotional attachments to food. So counselling with hypnotherapy has really helped many clients feel more positive about themselves and much more in control of their eating.
Many clients have managed to lose weight succesfully in this way but there are others who still struggle and that was why I became interested in Gastric Band Hypnotherapy. After reading many accounts of how effective it was, I have now trained to become a qualified gastro band therapist.
Real gastric band operations have been life saving for a number of people with a very high BMI although others have experienced unwanted side effects after the operation.
With hypno gastric band sessions your mind is put in a deeply relaxed state and your subconscious mind believes that a real gastric band operation has been performed. You now believe that there has been a major reduction in the size of your stomach and so your body responds differently. You desire less food and you find that you want to eat lighter, healthier meals
The advantages of gastric band hypnosis over traditional surgery are
It is safe
Surgical risks are eliminated
There is no pain involved
There are no side effects

Are you suitable for gastric band hypnosis?
If you are over weight with a BMI over 30 and really want and are committed to losing weight then you could be suitable. If your BMI is over 25 then you could well find the process very helpful. I will need to discuss this with you and also find out if you are taking certain medications or if there is a physiological reason for your weight problems. You can calculate your BMI below.

How long does it take?
You will need to attend for three appointments roughly two weeks apart. In the first appointment I will be getting to know you and helping you identify and handle some of the deeper reasons behind your over eating and food cravings. We will focus on metabolism first and I will give you relaxation C.D.s and a personalised plan to help your mind and body prepare for a permanent change in your eating patterns. In the second appointment I will be helping you break emotional attachments to food and you will be given a C.D. to listen to in preparation for the actual gastric band hypnosis.
There will be an option to attend for a 4th appointment to see how you are progressing and to make an adjustment to the ‘gastric band’ if we agree it will help to tighten or losen it.

Will it work?
Please note. The key to success is YOU! No weight loss system will work if you are not committed to losing weight but if you are determined then this will work for you. Also please be aware that like any medical or therapy procedure there can be no definite guarantees. Even a surgeon cannot guarantee that an actual gastric band will work. However, the virtual gastric band has been proven to be effective in aiding significant weight loss.

So how do I start?
Contact me by email or telephone so I can answer any further questions and then arrange a first appointment.

How much will it cost?
The total cost for four sessions, CDs and individualised programme with telephone support if necessary is £324 inc vat. You can pay by cheque or through PayPal
