Getting Started
Contact me first by phone on 07767798605 or email me by clicking on the 'click here to email' sign at the top right.
It is important to find out how soon I can offer you an appointment or begin an email exchange. Usually this won't be too long but if there is a delay because I am going on leave you may choose to go elsewhere. So wait before you send actual details of the problem you want help with
The costs of counselling and hypnotherapy are as follows:
£45 per hourly face to face session. This will be at my premises in Shipley, it is easy to find, is on a main bus route and there is good parking close by.
£45 for each email exchange or £125 if you pay for three at a time. We can have one or two exchanges a week, there will usually be three days between receiving your email and sending a reply.
£45 an hour for telephone sessions. These last up to an hour and we first arrange a set time that suits us both.
Don't forget, money back if you don't feel things are improving after three sessions!
If you would like further information or discussion about getting started then please email me (by clicking on the top right button) with your questions. There is no charge for this.
"I just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I think the EFT was helpful just to do something completely different to breakdown some of those inbuilt feelings/fears etc that no amount of reasoning could get rid of. It is certainly something I will come back to. And it has definitely helped me get out of my rut of negativity and helplessness." ( online client from France after 5 email exchanges)
My contracts.
If you decide to opt for online or telephone counselling it is important that you read the details of my contract below. It will only take a minute. If you are coming to see me then you can see the contract at your first appointment.

You affirm that you:
are over 18 years of age
not receiving any other therapy
are not at risk of harming yourself
2. Number of e-mails
We can begin by exchanging a minimum of one and a maximum of two e-mails a week and then review this after three weeks. I will confirm that I have received your e-mail and will aim to give you a full response within 3 days. I would like you to acknowledge receipt of my emails too.
3. Timing
You may wish to write and receive emails on set days rather than agreeing ‘one or two a week’ , if this is the case please let me know which days are best for you
4. Confidentiality
I will do my best to keep the content of your e-mails confidential although this is not 100% possible when using the internet. I will store our e mail exchanges on disc which will be kept in a locked cabinet. They will be erased on the completion of our work together. You may need to consider the fact that other people will have access to your computer and you will need to decide how to keep our counselling confidential if you wish to do so.
5. Safety
If I feel you are in danger of coming to harm or that someone you are in contact with might be harmed, I will need to break confidentiality in order to protect you or the third party. I will discuss this with you and involve you in the process but counselling may need to be suspended.
6. Supervision
I may discuss aspects of the work we do together with my supervisor. This is to ensure the high standard of my work and I would not reveal your identity to her.
7. Code of ethics
I abide by the code of ethics of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
